The District Council is consulting on a draft version of a Village Design Statement which has been prepared by Combe Parish Council.
The purpose of the design statement is to provide design guidelines to help shape any future development within Combe Parish.
Views are being sought over a 6-week period from Friday 3rd February until 17 March 2023.

Thank you to all those that have contributed so far, we still need as many of you to tell us what you think to help us shape the future of West Oxfordshire.
Did you know you can view what people have said either by clicking the green speech bubble icon or anywhere you see the grey response box (usually found at the top of your screen).
The chart below summarises the overall responses we’ve had so far.
And this is a word cloud created from the question ‘Tell us what you value most about living in West Oxfordshire’.
You can also upload photographs and images to help us illustrate what you value, we would love to see more of these. Just click on the ‘Your Council and You’ tile when you get to the consultation home page.

Due to the national period of mourning after the sad death of Her Majesty the Queen, we have extended the deadline for the Your Voice Counts consultation to Wednesday 5 October 2022, to give people further time to share their views.
This consultation is designed to gain the views of local residents, organisations and businesses on the areas we should focus on in the Council Plan and Local Plan.
Your views will help to ensure that the most important and relevant issues for West Oxfordshire are addressed.

We hope you’ve had a chance to look at our new Commonplace site now that the “Your Voice Counts” consultation has been live for a week, perhaps you’ve even submitted a response already.
We’ve already had lots of interest which is great news so if you’ve not taken part yet, please have a look around, see what others have said and let us know what you think.
If you haven’t got the time to leave a full response right now you can make use of our image upload feature here.
Perhaps if you have children looking for something to do before the end of the summer holiday, they might like to draw us a picture of what they like about living in West Oxfordshire or what they want to see in the future?
The consultation is open for you to comment from Wednesday 24 August 2022 until Wednesday 21 September 2022.
The purpose of the consultation is for you to have an early say on what key issues you think the new Council Plan and Local Plan should focus and what sort of organisation you would like the Council to be.
This will make sure that as our plans, priorities and actions are developed, they address the issues of most importance to our local residents, communities, businesses and organisations.
